Product overview
The main distribution board receives the low-voltage supply and distributes power to downstream boards and major loads. Its configuration is defined by the incomer, busbar rating, outgoing feeder schedule, fault level, metering requirements and available electrical-room space. Zejiefu coordinates these items before preparing the proposed arrangement.
Configurable engineering scope
- Main incomer, bus section and outgoing feeders
- Metering, surge protection and power-quality instruments
- Copper busbar arrangement and cable termination space
- Floor-standing construction and access requirements
- Spare feeders and future extension when specified
Typical applications
- Commercial building main electrical rooms
- Factories and workshops
- Infrastructure and public facilities
- Package systems downstream of a utility supply
Information required for quotation
- SLD and board schedule
- Rated current and fault level
- Incoming and outgoing cable information
- Required form of separation and IP rating
- Metering, communication and breaker brand
Standards, drawings and inspection
The applicable IEC standard, routine inspection scope, drawing format and project documentation must be confirmed against the technical specification. Ratings and compliance statements are not assumed before engineering review. Approved general-arrangement drawings and component schedules form the basis for production.
Frequently asked question
Can spare outgoing feeders be included in an MDB?
Yes. Spare equipped or unequipped ways can be included when they are identified in the approved feeder schedule.
Application solutions and RFQ guidance
Commercial building distribution | Critical-load distribution
Before requesting a configuration, review the SLD and BOQ preparation guide.
Coordinate the APFC capacitor bank data
Where reactive-power compensation is included in the package, provide the existing and target power factor, load profile, required kVAr and harmonic information. Review the APFC capacitor-bank selection inputs before issuing the RFQ.
Configuration inputs
Provide the single-line diagram, required standard, system ratings, installation conditions and preferred component make. Our technical response will identify the proposed scope and any deviations.
Available options
Electrical scheme, enclosure construction, cable entry, protection, metering, component make, IP rating, packing and documentation are configurable to the approved project scope.
Frequently asked questions
Can this equipment be manufactured to our SLD?
Yes. The final configuration is developed from approved drawings, ratings and component schedules.
Which documents are needed for a quotation?
Send the SLD, BOQ or specification, quantity, destination country and requested delivery schedule.
Are tests and reports available?
Available routine tests and documents depend on product scope. Only confirmed reports will be included in the proposal.
